Appian Logistics is interviewing for a Senior Software Engineer with C# and/or Java (EJB, J2ME) & SQL.

The Senior Software Engineer will work for product development team in a highly regarded software development company focused on transportation industry.

A few of the responsibilities include developing maintainable and documented code in C# and/or Java and performing unit tests.

Requirements:
• Proficiency in .NET C# (web focused), and SQL required.

Other requirements:
• At least 3 yrs of experience with some or all of the following:
• Software engineering in a Windows environment.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Translation of customer requests into technical specifications.
• User Interface design.
• Microsoft Visual Studio
• XML and HTML programming languages
• Implementation & maintenance of a complex, comprehensive information management system.
• Some application support experience (i.e., troubleshooting, diagnosis, resolution)
• Providing technical support to team members.
• Basic Microsoft operating system administration, web server administration & networking skills.

A STELLER candidate will also possess experience in JAVA and transportation industry.
