Appian Logistics Reports Record First Quarter Growth
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, April 19, 2007 — Appian Logistics, a leading provider of fleet routing software and real time reporting and tracking services reported record new customer growth for the first quarter of 2007. New customers adopting Appians Direct Route routing and scheduling software as their fleet management platform is at the highest rate in the companys 20 year history.
New customers joined the Appian family to help offset growing transportation costs, and to better manage todays changing fleet world, according to company President Mike Kositzky. Our customers report average savings of over 15% by using our route management software, he said in a recent interview. They also report that the better designed routes help them retain drivers, an important side benefit in todays tight labor market.
The new customers cross all industry lines, and range in size from national retail chains and trucking operations to regional home delivery and service providers. Our smallest new customer runs seven trucks and the largest nearly 2,000. They all anticipate full payback within just a few months, he said.
