Ryder and Appian Logistics Present at DC Expo
Donald Showell, Sr. Director of Transportation Solutions at Ryder Logistics, a leader in Third Party Logistics (3PL) servicing national and regional companies which span a wide spectrum of industries, will present at the DC Expo in Chicago on May 23, 2006. He will be teaming with Appian Logistics to discuss the benefits of using GPS tracking and Route Optimization Software together to enhance transportation efficiency. As fuel costs continue to rise, fleet operators will find this presentation helpful when analyzing ways to streamline current operations. Don offers a wealth of knowledge and experience. His background includes 12 years at Ryder, and over 23 years experience in the transportation industry to include Pepsi, Distron, and Sweetheart Cup. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Logistics from Georgia Institute of Technology.
